The well will be drilled in Burleson County as a TMD of 12,000 feet.

The permit was filed on July 12th of this month.

While Apache has not been active in this area for more than two years, the company has more than 400,000 acres in this region through a deal it did with EV Energy Partners andinstitutional partnerships managed by EnerVest Ltd.

Other active companies in Burleson County, Texas include: Clayton Williams, Ernest Operating, Ausco Texas Exploration and Buffco Production.
