Chuck Yates Out at Kayne Anderson; Teams to Consolidate
Rueters and Bloomberg is reporting that Chuck Yates, managing partner at Kayne Anderson, is leaving the firm.
Yates, who was previously senior vice president at privately held financial services firm Stephens Inc, joined Kayne Anderson in 2001.
Kayne Anderson has 57 active investments, according to Shale Experts Private Equity Database.
This includes companies like Ensign Natural Resources, who most recently acquired Eagle ford assets from Pioneer, and Woody Creek Midstream that signed a Midstream agreement with another Kayne Anderson portfolio company Casillas Petroleum in the SCOOP play in Oklahoma.
