Cona Resources has finalized its $569 million (C$740) acquisition of Pengrowth Energy.
The transaction also includes Pengrowth's current debt load of C$740 million.
As a result of this deal, Cona has added 33,336 net acres and over 22,700 BOEPD in production to its asset base. Pengrowth was focused on the Montney play as well as Canadian oil sands assets.
