PennTex Midstream Partners, LP reported that Richard (Rick) S. Walker has been appointed to the board of directors of the Partnership's general partner, effective July 24, 2015. Mr. Walker is an independent director and will serve as chairman of the audit committee of the Board.
Mr. Walker serves as the Managing Partner in the Houston office of DHR International, a leading global executive search firm. Prior to entering the executive search industry in 2005, Mr. Walker was a Managing Director with JPMorgan directing investment banking relationships with a variety of energy industry clients in the exploration and production, midstream and power sectors. Mr. Walker worked with JPMorgan and its predecessors from 1994 to 2005. From 1981 to 1994 Mr. Walker worked in the energy banking sector with predecessors of JPMorgan and Bank of America. Since 2007, Mr. Walker has served as a director and member of the audit committee of Venoco, Inc., an E&P company based in Denver that was publicly traded until its going private transaction in October 2012, and has served as chairman of its audit committee since November 2012. Mr. Walker has announced that he will complete his service with the Venoco board effective August 1, 2015. Mr. Walker is also an advisory director of ASCENDE and board member of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston.

Mr. Walker holds a BBA from Loyola University, New Orleans and a MBA from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Walker is a certified public accountant in the State of Texas.
