QEP Zooms In on the Permian; Five Rigs, New Acreage
QEP Resources released its Q2 2017 results. Highlights from its report / conference call include:
- Capex for 2017 remains unchanged at $1.05-1.1 billion
- Primary focus on the Permian with five rigs running (Pinedale and Williston both have one rig). This activity is further supported by QEP's new acquisition of acreage in the Midland Basin from JM Cox for $732 million.
