Rig Count Down - June 30, 2018 ; Permian Up, SCOOP/STACK down
Today in Rig Count. Shale Experts Rigs database reported that rig count this week was down by -10 in the core basins.
Midland Basin is up by +4 rigs from last week, this increase was led by XTO/Exxon, Oxy and Lario who all added rigs this week.
Delaware Basin is up by +2 rigs from last week
STACK/SCOOP is down -3 rigs, this is the first week since the begining of the year where the SCOOP/STACK lost rigs. This was driven by a pullback from Newfield, Linn and Rebellion. Click here for more details.
Marcellus was down by -3 rigs this week. We saw EQT and Range Resources reducing their drilling programs
The Uinta Play in Rockies also saw a drop of -4 rigs, this was led by EP Energy reducing its count by -2 rigs.
The Eagle Ford operators reduced their count by -2 to fall back below 100 (99 active rigs).
