Superior Energy Sees Decline in Onshore Revenue; Talks CapEx

Superior Energy Services Inc. has reported a net income of $76.3 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, on revenue of $1,178.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2012, and non-GAAP adjusted net income of $77.6 million, or $0.49 per diluted share, after excluding pre-tax expenses of $2.1 million related to an acquisition earnout payment.

These results compare with the fourth quarter of 2011 net income from continuing operations of $53.3 million, or $0.67 per diluted share, and net income of $19.4 million, or $0.24 per diluted share, on revenue of $562.4 million. Non-GAAP adjusted net income from continuing operations was $58.0 million, or $0.71 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2011.
