Falcon Minerals announced the appointment of Austin Frey to the position of Vice President - Reservoir Engineering.
About Frey:
Mr. Frey most recently served as Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer for Viper Energy since 2014, where he directly managed over $300 million in oil & gas mineral rights acquisitions, including positions in the Eagle Ford Shale and Permian Basin. Prior to Viper, Mr. Frey was a Reservoir Engineer for Pioneer Natural Resources, where he focused on acquisition and divestiture activity, as well as exploration efforts across the Permian Basin. Mr. Frey earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
