Husky Energy Cuts Workforce in the Wake of Canada's Federal Election

Husky Energy Inc. has cut a portion of its workforce in the days after the Canadian federal elections, according to a report by Reuters.
The announcement, made by a company spokesperson, did not specify the number of jobs affected by the cuts.
It is likely that the election played a part in the decision, as it resulted in a higher number of pipeline-opposed candidates winning seats.
