Pressure Pumpers Head to Public Market as Activity Picks Up

In the early weeks of 2017, a flurry of IPOs have emerged from private equity-backed pressure pumpers, including ProPetro, Keane and now FTS International has followed suit.

This is being spurred by E&Ps ramping up their capital budgets and drilling plans for 2017.

We are taking a look at each company's IPO as well as their operations and overall horsepower.

FTS International

FTS filed an S-1 with the SEC on February 14, 2017 - looking to raise ~$100 million.

According to the filing, FTS currently has 32 frac fleets that have a total of 1.6 million in hydraulic horsepower.

FTS is currently active in the Permian, SCOOP/STACK, Marcellus, Utica, Eagle Ford and Haynesville.
